Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tom Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nestor Gorshkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cooper comes into the arena with Eminem Feat. Nate Dogg - Till I Collapse blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tom Cooper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nestor Gorshkov! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gorshkov throws a right and a left that Cooper avoids nicely. The fighters circling - Cooper throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Cooper darts in and clinches Gorshkov up against the cage. Cooper tries a knee to the head but Gorshkov blocks it.
Cooper escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gorshkov pushes Cooper up against the cage in a clinch. Cooper keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Gorshkov's efforts to push away. Gorshkov tries to break the clinch but Cooper is controlling the position. Gorshkov lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Gorshkov trying to control the position but instead, Cooper has worked for underhooks and has pushed Gorshkov into the cage. Cooper breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cooper gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Cooper definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Gorshkov throws a left that rocks Cooper and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Gorshkov dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Cooper regain composure!

It looks like Tom Cooper has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cooper is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Gorshkov off and has taken his back! Oh Cooper is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Cooper throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Gorshkov covering up well under a barage of strikes. Gorshkov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cooper. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cooper has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cooper missing with punches from the back. Cooper patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Cooper looking for the choke but no joy. Cooper trying to control. Gorshkov is trying to get back to his feet but Cooper has full control of the position and if anything, Gorshkov has just worked his way into a worse spot. Cooper seems to have got his legs back now. Cooper is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Gorshkov up.
Cooper is punishing Gorshkov with strikes - can he finish him?! Gorshkov is trying to stand back up. Cooper lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Cooper has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cooper missing with punches from the back. Cooper is cranking Gorshkov's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Gorshkov! He's tightened the choke and Gorshkov is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Tom Cooper! After the fight, Tom Cooper was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
