Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kelly Huff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lech Walesa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kelly Huff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lech Walesa!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Walesa darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Walesa keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Huff is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Huff missing with punches from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Walesa wants to stand but Huff has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Huff is trying to control but can't.
Walesa tries to pass to full mount but Huff defends it.
Walesa stalling.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Walesa throws a right and a left that Huff avoids nicely.

Walesa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Huff might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Walesa wants to control from the top but Huff keeps moving.

Walesa stays in close to Huff's body and controls the position.
Walesa's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Walesa decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Huff, up you get!
Huff shoots in but Walesa avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Despite the aggression on Walesa's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Walesa throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Huff tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Walesa is in Huff's guard.

Walesa drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Walesa jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Huff wants to stand up but Walesa is controlling him.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Huff working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Walesa.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Huff shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Walesa as he avoids it easily.
Huff misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kelly Huff. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Walesa drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Huff is breathing heavily.
Walesa tries to advance to mount but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Huff gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Walesa wants to control from the top but Huff keeps moving.
Walesa throws a big elbow that misses.

Walesa decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Huff, up you get!

Walesa throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Huff was covering up waiting for the punch and Walesa finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Huff won't allow Walesa to pass to mount.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Walesa is working for an americana but Huff has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Walesa was thinking about the submission.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Walesa postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Walesa gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Walesa has Huff up against the cage in a clinch.

Walesa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Walesa darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Walesa tries to pass the half guard into mount. Huff knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Huff regains full guard. Nicely done.
Huff avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Walesa might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Huff haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Walesa is looking to stand up but Huff won't let him.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Huff tries to close the distance and clinch but Walesa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Walesa closes the distance and clinches.

Walesa manages to break the clinch.
Walesa connects with a leg kick. Huff looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Walesa scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Huff doesn't seem bothered though.

Lech Walesa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Huff misses with a takedown attempt - Walesa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Walesa throws a counter combo.
Walesa leaves Huff with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Walesa is trying to counter with his kicks.
Huff misses with a hook. Walesa ducked under it nicely.
Walesa lands a nice shot that snaps Huff's head back.

Huff tries to keep at a distance but Walesa has taken the fight into the clinch.
Huff jumps guard but Walesa stands there with Huff around his waist. Huff gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Walesa fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Huff to the ground. Walesa is now in Huff's guard.

Huff utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Walesa moves into the clinch successfully.

Walesa pulls guard.
Walesa is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Walesa wants to pass to mount but Huff is defending the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Huff is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Huff wants to control but Walesa is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Walesa decides to stand and escape the position.
Kelly Huff is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Huff gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Walesa engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Walesa throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Huff works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Huff manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Walesa trying to stall but Huff improves his position.
Huff tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Walesa smiles and moves away.

Walesa clinches up with Huff and pushes him back against the cage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Huff is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Walesa to keep the fight standing.
Kelly Huff has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Lech Walesa is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Walesa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

And that's the end of the fight!
Lech Walesa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Walesa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
