Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Augustine Garza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shogun Ryu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shogun Ryu is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryu throws a one two combo.
Garza shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ryu but Ryu pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ryu swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Garza darts in trying to clinch
and Ryu counters with a left and a right that stings Garza.

Garza closes the distance and clinches.

Garza has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Ryu clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Garza has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Garza lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.

Ryu covering up well under a barage of strikes.
Ryu is trying to stand back up.

Garza is looking for a choke. Ryu gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Ryu manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.

Garza looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Garza pushes Ryu off and scrambles back to his feet.

Ryu takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Garza closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Garza lands in his opponent's guard.
Garza throws a big right hand that misses.
Ryu utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Garza gets to his feet. Ryu looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ryu connects with a right hand. Garza shakes it off.

No joy there for Ryu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Garza tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Ryu manages to circle out of the way.
Ryu throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Ryu lands a body shot.
Ryu moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Ryu lands a jab-cross combination.

Garza is rocked!

and Ryu counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Garza! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
