Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinny Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes into a darkened arena with his song building. P.O.D. - Boom kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! William Cooper has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, William Cooper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cooper drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cooper is working Jones over with some ground and pound from side control. Jones regains half guard, as Cooper was trying to land strikes. Jones tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Cooper manages to move to mount!
Jones tries to hold on but Cooper postures up. Cooper has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Cooper landing punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones tries to reverse the position but Cooper maintains control. Jones tries to hold on but Cooper postures up. Jones really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Jones tries to buck Cooper off but he can't manage it. Cooper scoring with strikes but Jones is staying in there. Jones tries to lock up and control but Cooper gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Cooper landing shots from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Cooper misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Jones tries to hold on but Cooper postures up. Cooper wants to control the pace but Jones is squirming around nicely. Cooper is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jones can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cooper avoids the attempt from Jones to control. Jones is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Jones is bucking up trying to escape but Cooper cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Jones working to try and regain half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Cooper misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Cooper with shots to the head and body - Jones looks very uncomfortable down there. Jones is looking to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
William Cooper dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jones moves in looking to clinch but Cooper pushes him off. Cooper has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jones prevents the takedown attempt.
Cooper tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jones fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cooper sprawls well initially but Jones persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Jones working Cooper over with strikes. Jones stands up and beckons Cooper to join him on the feet. Jones has closed the distance and engaged Cooper in a clinch.
Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jones explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Jones thuds his right hand into Cooper's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Cooper shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Cooper. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones throws a nice head kick!
Cooper tries to clinch there but Jones circles away.
Cooper closes the distance and clinches up with Jones, looking for a takedown. Cooper pushes Jones against the cage but Jones circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jones swinging wilding here.
Cooper tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Jones connects with a jab. Cooper takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Jones scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Jones tries to clinch there but Cooper circles away.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Jones!
Cooper swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones. A solid leg kick lands there for Jones.
Jones clinches. Cooper tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knees in the clinch landing for Jones.
Jones has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Cooper regains guard immediately. Cooper working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jones. Cooper wants to stand up but Jones is controlling him. Jones stands and steps away. Cooper gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cooper, pushing him back against the cage. Cooper is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jones gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Jones with an attempt at a knee that misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cooper wants to get back to striking at distance but Jones won't allow it.
Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Cooper fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones rushes Cooper and presses him up against the cage. Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cooper gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jones counters with a leg kick. Jones scores a takedown into full mount! Jones trying to control but he's not successful this time. Cooper throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cooper is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Cooper wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Jones scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Cooper?

Vinny Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Jones connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Cooper shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jones counters with a lovely shot to the body. Jones lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Jones cracks the inside of Cooper's front leg. Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jones was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Jones looking to control and managing it successfully. William Cooper overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jones goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Cooper turns into him and now he's in Jones's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cooper postures up.
Cooper trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jones's guard. Jones looking for a sweep. Not yet Jones, not yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jones pulls Cooper in close to prevent any damage. Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Cooper tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard. Jones wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cooper slips a jab and a cross from Jones.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Cooper changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Cooper tries for a kimura but Jones is defending well. Jones is trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cooper decides to take the fight back to the feet. Jones scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Cooper throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely. William Cooper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones digs a good body shot into Cooper's ribs. Jones closes the distance and clinches. Cooper has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jones avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Cooper can't get the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Cooper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones lands a knee to the body.
Jones breaks from the clinch.
Jones scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. William Cooper is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cooper thows a leg kick but Jones checks it so Jones counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
And that's the end of the fight! Vinny Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jones has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
