1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Christopher Warren! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Bruno Hogan and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Albuquerque clinches up against the cage. Albuquerque breaks the clinch.
Warren tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Albuquerque swivels and escapes. Albuquerque clinches up with Warren and pushes him back against the cage. Albuquerque lands a left hand.
Warren stalling in the clinch but Albuquerque improves position. Albuquerque tries to break the clinch but Warren is controlling the position. Albuquerque lands a left hand.
It looks like Christopher Warren has been cut. Warren tries to pull guard but Albuquerque won't allow it.
Albuquerque breaks from the clinch.
Warren is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Warren shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Warren uses his free foot to push down on Albuquerque 's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Albuquerque . Albuquerque might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. This has been an exciting period of action! Albuquerque is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Warren raining down shots from the mount! Warren wants to finish this one by submission but Albuquerque is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Warren. Warren lands with some strikes. Albuquerque is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Warren locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Albuquerque is forced to tap!
