Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcos Duarte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yushin Okami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duarte comes to the ring accompanied by Go 2 Sleep by Ludacris. Okami is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: EMF - Unbelieveble. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okami blocks a head kick by Duarte.
Okami is looking for the big counter here.
Okami avoids a punch combination nicely.
Duarte lands with a cross.
Duarte looking to score a takedown here. Okami is defending well but Duarte drives through and ends up in Okami's guard.

We've been hearing that Duarte has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Duarte has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Okami is looking to regain half guard here but Duarte keeps moving and retains side control.
Duarte tries for a kimura but Okami is defending well.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Okami is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Duarte throws an elbow but Okami slips to the side and avoids it well.
Duarte is trying to get an arm triangle but Okami is defending well.
Duarte tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Okami tries to bench press Duarte off him but Duarte keeps the position.
An elbow from Duarte crashes against the mat.
Duarte is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Okami has escaped the position, nice work there.
Okami dodges the ground and pound from Duarte.

Duarte throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Duarte fails to land a wild elbow strike.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Okami throws the left hand but Duarte avoids the punch easily.
Duarte avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Okami throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Okami looks for a takedown but Duarte sprawls well.
Good standup being displayed there by Okami as he connects with a hook.
Okami closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Okami lands in his opponent's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Okami accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Duarte is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Okami is aware though and is defending well.
Duarte has momentary wrist control but Okami slips an elbow through the middle.
Okami postures up.
Duarte tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Duarte not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Okami trying to control but Duarte is working from the bottom.
Duarte working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Okami doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Duarte is tightening it up a little... Okami has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Okami reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Okami taps out! Nice BJJ there by Duarte!
