Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ray Finkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luivel Romero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Romero has chosen Don Omar - Danza Kuduro ft. Lucenzo as his entrance music. Luivel Romero told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romero dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Some bone on bone action there as Romero checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Romero fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Finkle manages to avoid it.
Finkle throws a wild body kick that Romero sees coming a mile off.
Finkle checks the leg kick nicely there.
Romero cracks Finkle with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Finkle slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

and Finkle makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Romero darts in trying to clinch
and Finkle counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Finkle enables Romero to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Finkle manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A determined Ray Finkle didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
