Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kasey Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kasey Lynch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Raul Mendez! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Mendez with that takedown attempt. Lynch tries to clinch but Mendez moves out of range. Mendez looks to throw the jab but Lynch is out of range. Lynch throwing a counter right hand but Mendez manages to avoid it. Lynch instigates a clinch. A frustrated look appears on Lynch's face as he tries to break the clinch. Mendez can't get the takedown.
Mendez is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lynch can't fight it off and eventually Mendez manages to take the fight to the floor. Lynch looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Mendez pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lynch is keeping the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mendez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Mendez with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lynch trying to keep a closed guard but Mendez is proving a slippery customer.
Lynch tries to land a sweep but no joy. Mendez slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Mendez has hold of Lynch's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Lynch seems comfortable defending it but Mendez has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Lynch is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Lynch is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Mendez couldn't care less - he's delighted!
