Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Rexar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rexar comes to the ring accompanied by Big Shit Poppin'. The crowd seem to be enjoying Souza's choice of entrance music: Los Porongas - Silêncio. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rexar swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Souza decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rexar's guard.
Rexar is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Souza pushing down on Rexar's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Rexar makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Rexar.
Souza stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rexar swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Souza has gone for a leg lock! Rexar slips out almost immediately though and dives into Souza's guard.

Rexar is working Souza over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Souza is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rexar is aware though and is defending well.
Rexar avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Souza escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rexar gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Souza shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rexar pinned against the ropes. Rexar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Rexar lands with a right to the head.
Rexar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rexar misses with a body shot.
Souza feints the counter takedown.
Souza closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Souza lands in his opponent's guard.

Tyler Rexar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Souza shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rexar as he jumps to the side.

Rexar lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've been told by Rexar's head coaches at Turka Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Souza wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rexar, who protects the arm well.
Rexar is looking to get back to his feet here but Souza is keeping cool and he's managed to take Rexar's back.

Souza is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Rexar defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Souza is working for a rear naked choke. Rexar is not defending it well and Souza has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Rexar refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Rexar's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). David Souza!
A very excited looking David Souza made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
In defeat, Tyler Rexar stepped up to the mic, saying 'Losing sucks, I trained hard but fell short. I'm gonna rise again. Thanks UFF hope you give me another chance'.
