Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Nieves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Huggy Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rodney Nieves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Huggy Bear! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nieves fails with the takedown. Nieves shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bear as he jumps to the side. Nieves shoots in looking for a takedown but Bear manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nieves's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rodney Nieves. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bear closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Nieves quickly recovers to half guard. Nieves tries to get to full guard but Bear has control of the leg. Nieves wants to get back to his feet.
Bear missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Bear thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nieves's head. Nieves really is a fat lump. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bear throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Nieves might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Nieves wants to get back to his feet. Bear missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Bear winds up and cracks Nieves with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Bear is taking a breather. Nieves says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Bear is thwarting Nieves's attempts to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bear lands a nice short elbow. Nieves avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bear. Bear seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Nieves is trying to maintain the position but Bear is very close to passing his half guard. Bear wants to take a breather but Nieves is having none of it. Bear landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bear looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Bear not landing any meaningful shots this time. Nieves won't allow Bear to pass to mount. Bear working over Nieves with some ground and pound. Nieves looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Nieves is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bear lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Nieves! More strikes land and this one is all over! Bear jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Huggy Bear!
