Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bedford counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bedford.
Ferguson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bedford just stands there and leans against the cage.
Come on Bedford - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Bedford slowing the pace effectively.
Bedford gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bedford with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Ferguson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bedford walks away with a smile on his face. Ferguson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Johnny Bedford has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Isaiah Ferguson.
Bedford drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Bedford trying to control the position from guard on top but Ferguson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Ferguson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bedford manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ferguson has Bedford in his guard.
Bedford throws a strike but Ferguson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ferguson drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Ferguson as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Bedford screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Ferguson! Nice submission victory there!
