Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hideki Soto!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biers with a poor takedown
and Soto counters by clinching up.
Soto turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Biers is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Soto is staying tight to Biers's torso, preventing him from escaping.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Soto is trying to get an arm triangle but Biers is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Biers takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Soto has an Americana. Biers didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Soto is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Soto hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
