Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jayson Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Li Hao Kanachi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jayson Ramirez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Li Hao Kanachi!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ramirez gets caught napping as Kanachi dives in and scores a takedown. Ramirez manages to retain guard.

Ramirez wants to stand and escape but Kanachi is having none of it.
Ramirez wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Kanachi throws a right hand that Ramirez ducks under and follows up with a left that Ramirez also avoids with ease.
Ramirez swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Kanachi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ramirez tries to avoid it but Kanachi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ramirez to the ground. Ramirez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ramirez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kanachi tries to avoid it but Ramirez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kanachi to the ground. Kanachi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kanachi lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Kanachi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ramirez as he jumps to the side.

Ramirez gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ramirez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ramirez wants to hit a switch here but Kanachi passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Ramirez there!

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Kanachi is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Ramirez is surviving well by controlling Kanachi's body position as best he can.
Kanachi postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ramirez looks a forlorn figure.
Ramirez tries to buck Kanachi off but he can't manage it.
Kanachi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Ramirez gets back to half guard.
Kanachi stalling.
Kanachi wants to pass to mount but Ramirez is defending the position.

Ramirez wants to get back to his feet.
Kanachi controlling the pace.
Kanachi should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ramirez has momentary wrist control but Kanachi slips an elbow through the middle.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Kanachi shoots in for a takedown but Ramirez shows good takedown defense.
Jayson Ramirez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Li Hao Kanachi.

and Ramirez counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kanachi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ramirez, pushing him back against the cage.

Kanachi works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Li Hao Kanachi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Kanachi has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Ramirez clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Ramirez tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
