Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Steffan Stove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Godin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stove's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Fire. The key to victory for Steffan Stove has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stove misses with a leg kick

so Godin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Godin won't allow Stove to sweep him here.
Stove preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Godin trying to control the position from guard on top but Stove is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Godin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Godin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stove pulls Godin in close to his closed guard and prevents Godin from doing any damage or advancing position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Godin is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Godin is looking to clinch but Stove is avoiding it.
Stove swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Stove tests Godin's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Stove cracks Godin with an open hand slap.
Godin tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Stove defends well and Godin ends up having to push Stove into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Stove throws a nice inside leg kick.
Stove fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Godin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Stove throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Godin has his takedown stuffed
and Stove cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A bone on bone clash there as Stove blocks the leg kick.
Stove lands with a nice body punch.
Stove scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Godin tries to clinch up
and Stove counters with a stiff right hand.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stove scores with a hook to the body. Godin takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Stove displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Godin lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Stove has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Stove and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Godin tries to clinch but Stove is having none of it.
Godin takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Stove is looking to slow Godin down with leg kicks.
Stove paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Godin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stove tries to avoid it but Godin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stove to the ground. Stove escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stove was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Steffan Stove has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diego Godin.
Stove throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stove cracks a nice hook into Godin's ribs.
Stove misses with a straight left.

Godin closes the distance and clinches.
Godin is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Stove is defending well.
Stove prevents a takedown attempt there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Godin blocking some punches.
Godin goes for a takedown attempt but Stove pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Stove sizes up Godin with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Godin takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Godin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Stove counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Godin is rocked!
Godin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Stove can pounce on him.
Godin is still on wobbly legs! Can Stove finish him?
Stove avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
BOOM! Stove lands a beautiful left hook that drops Godin. Godin tries to recover but Stove is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Godin lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
