Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Worf Roshenko!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Roshenko fails to land with a series of punches.
Hall half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Roshenko swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Hall counters with a straight right hand.
Roshenko lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Hall feinted with a counter takedown.
Roshenko shoots in for a double leg but Hall sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hall, right into the meat.
Hall lands with a thumping leg kick.
Hall takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Worf Roshenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roshenko misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Hall counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Hall thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Roshenko's head.

Hall is taking a breather. Roshenko says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Roshenko is looking for a sweep. Hall is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hall takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Hall works his foot free and advances to mount.
Hall has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Roshenko is in all sorts of trouble here.

Roshenko told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Roshenko is rocked!
Hall postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Roshenko out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Hall goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kevin Hall!
An out of breath and clearly excited Kevin Hall thanked KAISER Nutrition (160!/220$) for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
The defeated Worf Roshenko had this to say: 'I'd like to thank UFF for giving me the title shot. I regret coming up short, but Buddy Guy was the better fighter, not to mention blues guitarist. I will analyze my shortcomings and come back...with a vengeance.'.
