Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sylar Belmont!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Buck!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buck closes the distance and clinches up with Belmont, looking for a takedown. Buck pushes Belmont against the cage but Belmont circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
No luck for Belmont with that takedown attempt.
Belmont displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Buck.

Buck gets caught flat footed, as Belmont shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Belmont is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Buck looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Belmont distracts Buck with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Belmont slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Belmont connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Buck some visible discomfort.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Belmont is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Buck has escaped the position, nice work there.

A big shot lands for Belmont! That's hurt Buck! Will he recover? Belmont fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

A relieved looking Sylar Belmont thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
