Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cain Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Steinbach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mir comes to the cage accompanied by Sub-Mission. The key to victory for Cain Mir has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Cain Mir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Viktor Steinbach!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mir ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Steinbach moves away.
Mir gets a clinch.
Steinbach pushes Mir back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Mir misses with the head strike.
Steinbach has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mir avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Mir gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Steinbach striking from the bottom.
Mir wants to lay and pray for a moment but Steinbach keeps working.
Steinbach is in trouble now - Mir has advanced to mount!
Steinbach tries to lock up and control but Mir gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Steinbach is looking to improve his position but Mir isn't that keen on the idea.
Mir wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
Mir has control of Steinbach's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Steinbach regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Steinbach is working to get back to half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Steinbach can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mir is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Steinbach has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Mir is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Steinbach is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Steinbach flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Mir anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Steinbach and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Mir slips an arm under Steinbach chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Mir has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Mir is squeezing on Steinbach like an anaconda would it's prey. Steinbach fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Cain Mir!
