Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Freddy White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akisame Hikaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hikaru has chosen Ultimate Battle as his entrance music. Freddy White had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
White misses with a head kick.

Hikaru throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. White tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hikaru is in White's guard.
Hikaru tries to free his leg and advance position but White is retaining full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hikaru postures up in White's guard and throws a big left but White blocks it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

White throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hikaru jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hikaru lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and White has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from White and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Hikaru misses with an uppercut. White saw that one coming.
White throws a head kick that misses.
Hikaru connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Freddy White is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
White swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hikaru is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hikaru shoots in for a takedown but White shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
White stuffs the takedown attempt from Hikaru. Hikaru gets slowly back to his feet.
Freddy White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akisame Hikaru.

White feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hikaru's calf.

White on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if White tries to get out of the position.
Hikaru looking to control but instead White has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

Hikaru is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

White is defending against the submission attempts here by Hikaru.
Hikaru is keen to just control but White is a slippery customer.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Hikaru on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hikaru darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Hikaru fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. White sprawls well initially but Hikaru persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

White fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hikaru avoids it really well and circles away.

Akisame Hikaru showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

White throws a chopping leg kick but Hikaru manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Hikaru lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hikaru! But no joy.

Hikaru displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as White throws out the jab.

White lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

White throws a head kick but Hikaru moves out of range.

Akisame Hikaru is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

White is letting Hikaru control him for a moment.
Hikaru has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hikaru is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, White has escaped the position, nice work there.

White is not content to let Hikaru control the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hikaru scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at White to see if he's OK.
Hikaru wants to control but White is keeping him busy.
Hikaru is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down White's shoulder. That is not cool.
Hikaru lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Akisame Hikaru.
I've got Hikaru winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
