Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Harley Weewax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iker Dedal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dedal, as that shot connected.
Dedal smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Dedal rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Weewax moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Weewax avoids a punch combination nicely.
Some wild striking there from Dedal.
Dedal misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Weewax is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Dedal.

Weewax bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Weewax happy to just control the position for now.
Dedal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Weewax. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Weewax tries for a kimura but Dedal is defending well.

Weewax thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Weewax in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Weewax is trying to get an arm triangle but Dedal is defending well.
Weewax working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Dedal is not content to let Weewax control the position.

Weewax lands some shots froms side control.
Weewax creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Dedal sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Weewax is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dedal will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dedal can do anything to dispel that myth.
Dedal bucks up and tries to throw Weewax off but instead Weewax has got his back!

Weewax is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Dedal knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Dedal for a finish.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Weewax is cranking Dedal's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Dedal! He's tightened the choke and Dedal is tapping out!
