Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitri Kherzakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bravo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Stemm - Face The Pain. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Johnny Bravo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dmitri Kherzakov! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bravo closes the distance and clinches up with Kherzakov, looking for a takedown. Bravo pushes Kherzakov against the cage but Kherzakov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A left lands for Kherzakov.
It looks like Johnny Bravo has been cut. Bravo tries to land a leg kick but Kherzakov saw it coming and moves away.
Kherzakov dives in and grabs Bravo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bravo pushes down on Kherzakov's head and hops out. Kherzakov misses with a head kick.
Bravo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kherzakov but Kherzakov pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kherzakov tries to work over Bravo's front leg with a kick but Bravo checks it. Kherzakov dives in for a single leg takedown but Bravo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Kherzakov throws a head kick but Bravo moves out of range.
Bravo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kherzakov avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnny Bravo. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bravo shoots in and bounces Kherzakov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bravo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bravo wants to control from the top but Kherzakov keeps moving. Kherzakov preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Bravo trying to control but Kherzakov is working from the bottom. Kherzakov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bravo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kherzakov keeping full guard, as Bravo tries to pass. Bravo with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bravo wants to pass the guard but Kherzakov is keeping the position. Bravo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bravo wants to pass the guard but Kherzakov is keeping the position. Kherzakov is controlling Bravo's posture. Bravo lands a couple of elbows. Kherzakov wants to get back to his feet but Bravo is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Bravo working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kherzakov utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Bravo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bravo trying to control the position from guard on top but Kherzakov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bravo landing some decent shots from guard. Bravo forces his way into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kherzakov has hold of Bravo's hands but Bravo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Kherzakov works his way to full guard. Good work. Bravo passes easily into side control. Nice work. Bravo working the head and body with strikes. Bravo looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Bravo is chipping away with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bravo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kherzakov has escaped the position, nice work there. Bravo landing a few strikes. A big shot lands for Bravo! That's hurt Kherzakov! Will he recover? Bravo fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Bravo! Our winner, Johnny Bravo, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
