Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Greg Favorite! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Favorite shoots in for a takedown but Mclaughlin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Favorite tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mclaughlin paws at him with a jab and circles away. Mclaughlin forces Favorite back against the cage and clinches. Nice body punch from Mclaughlin. Mclaughlin lands a hook that snaps the head of Favorite backwards. Mclaughlin letting Favorite take a breather here. Favorite is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Mclaughlin avoiding damage as Favorite throws knees to the body.
Favorite manages to break the clinch.
Mclaughlin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Favorite to the mat! Favorite manages to get full guard. Mclaughlin stopping the sweep attempt from Favorite. Mclaughlin controls from within his opponent's guard. Favorite looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Favorite can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mclaughlin controls the pace. Mclaughlin has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Mclaughlin seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Favorite for as long as he can get away with. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Mclaughlin lands a shot to the body. Favorite looks winded! Favorite drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mclaughlin gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Mclaughlin leaves Favorite with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Excellent takedown into side control there by Favorite. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Favorite controlling the position from side mount. Mclaughlin sneaks back into half guard.

Favorite with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Favorite looking to sit in guard and control but Mclaughlin gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Favorite wants to sweep here but Mclaughlin controlling him for the moment. Mclaughlin stays in close to Favorite's body and controls the position.

Favorite is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mclaughlin is controlling him. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Mclaughlin not doing a lot at the moment. The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Favorite defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mclaughlin. Mclaughlin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Favorite. Favorite shoots in and bounces Mclaughlin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Favorite throws a front kick aimed at Mclaughlin's knee but Mclaughlin avoids it well. Favorite dives in and scores a takedown into Mclaughlin's guard. Favorite throws an elbow that misses. Mclaughlin uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Favorite's guard. Nice move by Mclaughlin! Mclaughlin sitting in guard here, content to control. This is a sustained period of stalling by Mclaughlin. Favorite has momentary wrist control but Mclaughlin slips an elbow through the middle. Mclaughlin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Favorite circles away quickly and effectively. Favorite closes the distance and clinches up with Mclaughlin, looking for a takedown. Favorite pushes Mclaughlin against the cage but Mclaughlin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Grady Mclaughlin is winning the standup battle so far. Favorite takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Favorite is looking to clinch. Mclaughlin seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Mclaughlin stuffs the takedown attempt from Favorite. Favorite gets slowly back to his feet. As Favorite looks to move away, Mclaughlin throws a big counter combo bu Favorite just gets out of the way. Grady Mclaughlin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Greg Favorite. Favorite takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Mclaughlin throws a big counter combination but Favorite scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Favorite misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. It looked like Mclaughlin was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Mclaughlin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Mclaughlin is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Favorite has managed to free his arm - good work. Mclaughlin sitting and controlling from the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Favorite trying to hold on to Mclaughlin's head to control him but Mclaughlin postures up.
Mclaughlin working over Favorite with some ground and pound. Favorite looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Mclaughlin looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

And that's the end of the fight! Grady Mclaughlin showed his dominance in that final round. Well Mclaughlin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
