The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
hedderick moves out of range as Preston throws a body kick.
Preston moves in looking to clinch but hedderick pushes him off.
hedderick misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
hedderick throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
hedderick fails with a takedown attempt.
hedderick shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
hedderick shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Preston pinned against the cage. Preston gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Julian Preston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of randy hedderick.

Preston connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt hedderick! He's out on his feet! Preston rushes in and drops hedderick with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
