Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big D (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henderson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is A Country Boy Can Survive. The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
D has managed to clinch.
Henderson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
D lands a takedown into guard.
D scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

D tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no D has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
D is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
D passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Henderson!

D working for a guillotine from mount but Henderson is in no mood to give up.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
D has hold of Henderson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Henderson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
D scoring with strikes but Henderson is staying in there.
D wants to finish this one by submission but Henderson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from D.
Henderson tries to hold on but D postures up.
D is working for a guillotine from mount but Henderson frees his head quite easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Big D dominated that round.

D goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Henderson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and D counters with a shoot takedown. Henderson fights it but they end up in guard.
D seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
D tries to free his leg and advance position but Henderson is retaining full guard.

Henderson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

D passes easily into side control. Nice work.
D has an Americana. Henderson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! D is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if D hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
