Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Monty Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prince Chester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Monty Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Prince Chester! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yuuki Gou and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chester decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Chester is looking to take a break and control but Sanchez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Chester stalling. It looks like Chester might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Chester is keen to just control but Sanchez is a slippery customer. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sanchez controlling the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez is pressing down on Chester's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Chester throws a big right hand that misses. Chester wants to pass the guard but Sanchez is keeping the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Sanchez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Chester manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Chester shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sanchez napping and manages to drive through into side control! Chester goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Sanchez has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Chester but great work by Sanchez. You can see the frustration on Chester's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez throws an elbow but Chester slips to the side and avoids it well. Chester tries to improve position but can't. Chester trying to remain calm as Sanchez controls from the top position. Chester is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Chester is trying to get back to half guard. A lull in the action here. Chester is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez controlling the position. Sanchez trying to control the position but Chester is working away. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Chester is looking for a sweep.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Chester changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sanchez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Chester tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Chester taking a break here but Sanchez is having none of it and regains half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sanchez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Prince Chester dominated that round. That's time! Sanchez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Chester feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Chester throwing strikes but missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sanchez keeping moving, preventing Chester from controlling successfully. Chester has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Chester is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chester trying to control the position from guard on top but Sanchez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Chester is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sanchez throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Sanchez is looking to clinch. Chester shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Chester was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chester throwing strikes but Sanchez manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Prince Chester has got the better of the ground game so far. You can see the frustration on Chester's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Chester tries to escape but Sanchez is in control. A control attempt from Chester but he's now mounted! Sanchez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chester on the ground. Chester keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanchez sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Chester bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Sanchez keeping moving, preventing Chester from controlling successfully. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Chester has eaten all the pies!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chester tries to stand but Sanchez is controlling from the bottom. Chester stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sanchez swivels though and keeps the full guard. Chester wants to control from the top but Sanchez keeps moving. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chester looking to improve position, pressing down on Sanchez's thigh with his hand. Sanchez seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Chester paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Chester's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Sanchez picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
