Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A lazy body kick from Badoyan and Gutz decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Badoyan's guard. Badoyan looking for a sweep. Not yet Badoyan, not yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gutz wants to pass the guard but Badoyan is keeping the position. Gutz trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Badoyan trying to keep a closed guard but Gutz is proving a slippery customer.
Badoyan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Badoyan pulls Gutz in close to prevent any damage. Badoyan controls Gutz momentarily but Gutz frees himself. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gutz throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Badoyan works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Badoyan connects with a leg kick. Gutz looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Gutz will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Gutz takes a kick to the side of the head. Gutz takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
We've been hearing reports that Gutz has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Badoyan lands a slapping body shot.
Nice body kick from Badoyan. Gutz throws a hook but Badoyan blocks it. Gutz throws a leg kick but Badoyan sees it coming and moves out of range. Badoyan checks the leg kick nicely there.
Gutz lands with a straight right. Badoyan didn't see that one coming.
It looks like Tigran Badoyan has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Badoyan misses with a body shot.
Gutz takes a body punch but keeps moving. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gutz checks a leg kick nicely. Badoyan shoots in and gets a takedown into Gutz's guard. Badoyan with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Badoyan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Gutz keeping moving, preventing Badoyan from controlling successfully. Badoyan scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Gutz has Badoyan pulled in close to control his posture. Gutz looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Badoyan wants to control from the top but Gutz keeps moving. Gutz wants to improve his position but instead Badoyan has moved into half guard.
Gutz won't allow Badoyan to pass to mount. Gutz avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Badoyan. Gutz tries to get to full guard but Badoyan has control of the leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Gutz is working hard here to advance position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Gutz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Badoyan. Badoyan pushes Gutz away with a front kick. Gutz getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Badoyan misses with a wild body shot. Gutz tries to counter with a takedown but Badoyan is quick to defend against it. Gutz throws a looping overhand right but Badoyan ducks down to avoid it. A swing and a miss from Gutz. Badoyan lands a jab to Gutz's midsection. Badoyan just misses with a punch to the body.
Gutz takes a shot right to the bread basket. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tigran Badoyan dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tigran Badoyan's cut. That's time! Gutz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Badoyan misses with a double jab.
Badoyan lands a leg kick that knocks Gutz off balance momentarily. Badoyan checks a leg kick. Badoyan feints the counter takedown. A left lands for Gutz. Badoyan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Badoyan throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Badoyan swings widly with a right hand
and Gutz counters with a lovely straight right hand! Badoyan connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A looping hook to the body misses from Gutz. Badoyan does a little dance to reset his feet. Badoyan is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Gutz rather than just go for the knockout. Gutz drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Badoyan misses with a wild body shot. Gutz tries to counter with a takedown but Badoyan is quick to defend against it. Gutz takes a swing at Badoyan's ribcage but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Badoyan cracks Gutz with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Gutz looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Badoyan finish him?
It looks like Apollo Gutz has been cut. Gutz is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Badoyan Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Gutz is out cold, face down on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Tigran Badoyan! Tigran Badoyan gave a mention to Dissolution Fight Wear in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
