The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Santos.
Horrible takedown attempt by Filipovic or perhaps it was just good defense by Santos, which made it look bad.
Santos is looking to counter punch.
Santos is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Santos lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Santos. No joy for Filipovic on that attempt.
Santos stuffs the takedown attempt from Filipovic. Filipovic gets slowly back to his feet.
Estarlin Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hell Filipovic.
Santos throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Filipovic tries to clinch there but Santos circles away.
Filipovic tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Santos swivels and escapes.

Filipovic should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Filipovic takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Santos fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Filipovic looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Filipovic rushes Santos and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Santos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Santos fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Filipovic with the counter takedown but Santos avoids it easily.
Santos throws a body shot but no joy.
Filipovic takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Filipovic shoots in looking for a takedown but Santos manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Filipovic's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Filipovic shoots in but Santos avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Santos clinches.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Santos as Filipovic tries to tie him up.
Santos breaks from the clinch.

Filipovic closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Santos to the mat! Santos manages to get full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Santos wants to get back to his feet but Filipovic is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Filipovic postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Santos on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Santos tries to get out of the position.
Santos wants to stand but Filipovic is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Filipovic is working Santos over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Filipovic has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Santos wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Filipovic manages to pass to side control.

Santos tries to kick Filipovic off but Filipovic keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Filipovic has eaten all the pies!

Filipovic thows a huge punch but Santos dodges it nicely.
Filipovic missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Filipovic maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Santos could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Filipovic has cracked it and Santos is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Filipovic!
