Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Lloyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuki Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lloyd's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Meniac by Michael Sembello. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Lloyd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yuki Yamamoto! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lloyd fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Yamamoto drives through and clinches with Lloyd against the cage.
Yamamoto utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Lloyd wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Yamamoto has him pressed against the cage. Lloyd looking to stall.
Yamamoto unloads a knee to the mid-section. Lloyd lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Lloyd on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Yamamoto obliges. Lloyd on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
A short right from Lloyd on the inside. Yamamoto tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Lloyd avoids it. Lloyd is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Yamamoto is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lloyd is defending well for now. Yamamoto misses with a knee to the head. A shot in the inside from Lloyd. Lloyd escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lloyd takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Lloyd pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yamamoto feints and then cracks Lloyd's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lloyd down. Lloyd misses with a hook. Yamamoto ducked under it nicely. Lloyd sets himself, and Yamamoto steps forward looking for the clinch! Lloyd avoids it this time. Yamamoto ducks under a wild hook from Lloyd. Lloyd misses with the combination.
Yamamoto fails in his attempt to clinch. Yamamoto tries to land a body kick and Lloyd counters with a right hand to the body. Yamamoto tries to clinch but Lloyd moves out of range. Lloyd cracks Yamamoto with a right hand to the side of the head. Lloyd circles away from the clinch attempt.
Yamamoto takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Yamamoto has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Lloyd lands a nice shot that snaps Yamamoto's head back.
A low kick from Yamamoto misses and Lloyd counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Yamamoto moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Yamamoto is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Yamamoto looks up at the clock. Bad move! Lloyd lands a right hand from hell, dropping Yamamoto. Lloyd pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Lloyd! Mike Lloyd decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
