Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Delarosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrew Delarosa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kurt Turner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andrew Delarosa! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, David Schapiro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delarosa shoots in for a takedown but Turner shows good takedown defense. Delarosa shoots for a takedown but Turner saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Turner bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Delarosa tries to get back to half guard but can't. Delarosa regains half guard there - taking advantage of Turner's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Turner prevents Delarosa from improving his position. Turner really is a fat lump. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Turner is working for a submission of some sort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Delarosa controlling the position for now. Delarosa wants to get back to full guard. Delarosa keeps control of the position for the meantime. Turner keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Turner looking for a submission but Delarosa manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Delarosa lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Delarosa trying to control the position from guard on top but Turner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Turner might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Delarosa won't allow Turner to get back to his feet. Delarosa wants to control from the top but Turner keeps moving.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Delarosa shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Turner napping and manages to drive through into side control! Turner stops Delarosa from passing to mount. Delarosa is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Turner has escaped the position, nice work there. Turner struggling a bit here. Delarosa moves into full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Turner is looking to improve his position but Delarosa isn't that keen on the idea. Delarosa moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Turner has worked his arm free - good work by Turner!
Turner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Delarosa on the ground. Turner is not content to let Delarosa control the position. Delarosa tries to move to mount but Turner blocks the move with his legs. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Turner is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Delarosa off and has taken his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Andrew Delarosa will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Turner. Delarosa tries to buck Turner off but Turner is having none of it. Delarosa can't do much from the bottom here. Delarosa is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Turner's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Delarosa tries to get to full guard but Turner has control of the leg. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Turner lands a nice short elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Delarosa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Turner is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Delarosa defends it well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Delarosa makes his way to full guard, as Turner worked for a kimura.
Turner has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Delarosa bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Turner's guard. Turner keeping moving, preventing Delarosa from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turner looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Delarosa wants to control from the top but Turner keeps moving. Delarosa drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Delarosa as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Turner screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Delarosa! Nice submission victory there!
