Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Cave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keimah Animai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Animai comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Beat It kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Nick Cave has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Animai pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cave circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cave works over Animai's head and body with a nice combination.
Cave takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Nick Cave has been cut.
Cave avoids the head kick by Animai.

It looked like Cave was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Animai.

Animai throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Animai throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cave's waist but Cave gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Animai off to one side.

Animai takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Cave pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Animai back to the cage. Cave follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Keimah Animai has been cut.

Animai clinches up with Cave and pushes him back against the cage.
Animai escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Animai is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Animai throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Animai tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cave was well out of range. Poor timing from Animai.

Animai might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Cave will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Animai up against the cage.

A close round but Keimah Animai will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
