Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Urijah Silva!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
cordova misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
cordova fails with an attempt to clinch.
Silva keeps the fight on the outside.
cordova tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.

cordova really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Silva tries to free his leg and advance position but cordova is retaining full guard.

I looks like Silva might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Silva counters with a shoot takedown. cordova fights it but they end up in guard.
cordova has momentary wrist control but Silva slips an elbow through the middle.
Silva advances to half guard.
Silva lands with a punch from half guard.
cordova is trying to stand up here but Silva is controlling him well.
Silva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but cordova does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Silva has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. cordova can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Despite being in the dominant position, Urijah Silva just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Silva feints and as cordova raises his hands in defense, Silva changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Urijah Silva showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! cordova's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Urijah Silva comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
