Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Leiro Nayr!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nayr loads up on a big right hand but Hoop slips the punch.
Nayr lands with a straight right. Hoop didn't see that one coming.
Nayr lands a nice shot that snaps Hoop's head back.

Hoop does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Nayr avoids the body shot from Hoop.
Hoop avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nayr throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hoop stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hoop lands a really nice looking cross but Nayr seems unphased.

Hoop throws an overhand right that lands on Nayr's shoulder, as Nayr tries to avoid the shot.
Nayr swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hoop has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Hoop tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nayr throws a shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

John Hoop seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nayr looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Nayr has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hoop fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Nayr stuns Hoop with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hoop swings for the body but Nayr moves out of range.
Nayr tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hoop was well out of range. Poor timing from Nayr.

Hoop takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Nayr throws a shot from downtown. Hoop moves away and avoids it.
Nayr misses with an uppercut. Hoop saw that one coming.
Nayr walks into a stiff left hand from Hoop.

Hoop throws an uppercut from hell that sends Nayr clean off his feet! He's out cold! Hoop stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
