Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Calgary Alberta!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alberta clinches with his opponent.
Alberta throws a punch but it's blocked by Perez.
Perez using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Alberta has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Perez is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Perez lands a knee to the head.

Alberta breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Perez looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Perez has closed the distance and engaged Alberta in a clinch.
Alberta tries to circle away but Perez has him pinned against the cage.
Alberta working hard to break the clinch.
Perez swings wildly with an uppercut but Alberta uses good head movement to avoid it.
Alberta lands a body shot in the clinch.
Alberta tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Perez avoids it.
Alberta blocks a body shot from Perez.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Alberta is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Perez gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Alberta is trying to push Perez away but Perez has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Alberta pulls guard.
Perez trying to control the position from guard on top but Alberta is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Perez's corner is telling him to maintain position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Alberta is on top in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Perez looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Alberta stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Perez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Perez not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Perez is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Alberta is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Perez is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Perez has escaped and now he's on top!

Perez has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Alberta to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Perez is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Alberta pulls down on the head and he's put Perez to sleep! This one is all over!

A very excited looking Calgary Alberta rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
