Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Fury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quiet Monkey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monkey has chosen Epic - Faith No More as his entrance music. Quiet Monkey will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monkey with a poor takedown
and Fury counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Fury takes a swing at Monkey's ribcage but misses.
Monkey lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Fury throws a shot from downtown. Monkey moves away and avoids it.
Nick Fury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fury keeps the fight on the outside.
Monkey fails with the takedown.
Monkey just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromFury.
Fury lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Monkey checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
As Fury backs off Monkey throws a huge counter combo but Fury manages to avoid it all.
Fury looks to throw the jab but Monkey is out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fury will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Monkey on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Fury looks to land a left hand but Monkey moved out of range nicely.
Fury catches Monkey with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Fury shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Monkey eats them both and turns towards Fury to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Monkey stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Fury.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Fury. Monkey shrugs it off though.
Fury with a nice cross.
Fury lands with a kick to the ribs.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Fury sends Monkey crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fury is motioning to the referee to let Monkey up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Monkey is rocked!
Nick Fury is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fury jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Monkey is still on wobbly legs! Can Fury finish him?
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Fury.
Monkey seems to have recovered his senses.
Fury feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Monkey's calf.
Fury throws a series of punches but Monkey moves out of range.

Fury lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Fury throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Fury scores with a shot to the body.
Fury throws a shot from downtown. Monkey moves away and avoids it.
Fury moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromMonkey.
Fury misses with a hook to the body
and Monkey makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
A slapping body kick lands there for Fury.

A nice side step and Monkey releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Some wild striking there from Fury.
Fury looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fury loads up on a big right hand but Monkey slips the punch.
Fury throws an overhand right that lands on Monkey's shoulder, as Monkey tries to avoid the shot.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Monkey! But no joy.

Monkey takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Monkey takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Fury throws a big shot that misses.
Fury throws a series of punches but Monkey avoids them all with ease.
Fury feints and then cracks Monkey's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Monkey down.
Fury lands a high kick!
Fury lands with a right hand.
Fury thuds a left hand into Monkey's body.
Fury lands with a nice body punch.
Fury takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Fury lands with a good body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fury misses with an uppercut.

Monkey moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Fury throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fury cracks Monkey with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Monkey tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Fury pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Monkey is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nick Fury!
A relieved looking Nick Fury thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Quiet Monkey stepped up to the mic, saying 'Did I just poop my pants?'.
