Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcelo Capen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough. Marcelo Capen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Capen fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

That was a close round but I would say that Anderson Silva will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Capen shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Capen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Capen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Silva.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Capen is breathing heavily.
Silva clobbers Capen with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Capen drops his hands momentarily and Silva takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A nice leg kick lands there from Silva.

Capen with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Silva to score with a decent uppercut.
Capen is rocked!
Silva lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Capen can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Silva and Capen drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Silva.
