5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jason Barrett! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barrett scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Offley doesn't seem bothered though. Offley shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Barrett sprawls well. Barrett wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Offley gets slowly back to his feet. Offley takes a body punch but keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barrett changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Barrett throws a lazy body kick and Offley counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Offley. Barrett not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Barrett really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Offley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Offley thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Barrett's head. Barrett is positioning himself well to prevent Offley advancing to mount. Offley throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Offley is working for a kimura but Barrett is defending it quite comfortably.

Barrett is looking to improve his position but Offley isn't that keen on the idea. Barrett is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Offley thowing shots but they're missing. Offley has hold of Barrett's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Barrett manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Barrett is desperately trying to improve his position but Offley has a good base and remains in mount.

Barrett wants to hold on but Offley pushes him away. Offley with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Offley is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Barrett can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

It looks like Clinton Offley has been cut. Barrett stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Barrett wants it to stay on the feet. A little jabbing left from Barrett on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. A swing and a miss from Barrett. Offley tries for a takedown but Barrett circles away easily and Offley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barrett shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
