and Sock counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Shovkovskyj has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sock finds it's way round the side to connect with Shovkovskyj's head.

Shovkovskyj stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Shovkovskyj wants it to stay on the feet.
It looked like Shovkovskyj was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Sock is fighting off a takedown attempt but Shovkovskyj is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sock to the mat. Sock regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
