Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Rojas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grant Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rojas comes into the arena with Apaga Mas Năo Bate blaring out of the sound system. Morrison comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mystery Plane kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrison misses with a looping left.
Rojas scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Rojas throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Morrison sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Morrison swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Morrison throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Morrison lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Rojas shoots in for a takedown but Morrison shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rojas looks to clinch
and Morrison counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Morrison throws a looping overhand right but Rojas ducks down to avoid it.
Rojas is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Morrison.
Rojas throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Morrison tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rojas is in Morrison's guard.
Rojas postures up in Morrison's guard and throws a big left but Morrison blocks it.
Morrison utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rojas thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Rojas has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
We've been hearing reports that Rojas has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Morrison connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rojas's hands.
Rojas takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Rojas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Morrison paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Morrison is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Rojas had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Morrison lands a good knee to the midsection. Rojas won't want to take too many of those.
Rojas is breathing heavily.
Rojas is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Morrison to keep the fight standing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Grant Morrison dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Morrison feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rojas sprawling to the canvas! Rojas rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Morrison finish him?!
Rojas is rocked!

Morrison fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rojas looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Oh Rojas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Morrison shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Rojas takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Morrison sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Rojas bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Grant Morrison!
In his post fight interview, Grant Morrison started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
