Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Li Hao Kanachi!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berg doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Kanachi to counter with a crisp jab.
Berg fails to land the takedown.
Kanachi wants to counter the offense by Berg and move into the clinch position.
Berg really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kanachi rushes Berg and presses him up against the cage.
Kanachi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kanachi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kanachi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kanachi showed some decent athleticism there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kanachi winds up and cracks Berg with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Kanachi is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Berg is hurt! He's hurt bad - Kanachi fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Berg from any more punishment! Congratulations to Kanachi! Great finish!
