Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nag Gigger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gigger is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fight to Survive. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Quinton Nelson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nag Gigger! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nelson clinches. Nelson throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Nelson lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Gigger. Gigger pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Gigger has closed the distance and engaged Nelson in a clinch.
Gigger works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Nelson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Gigger has picked Nelson up and slammed him! Nelson can't keep hold of the triangle and Gigger manages to pass to side control! Gigger decides to stand back up. Gigger steps back and let's Nelson get back to his feet. Nelson moves into the clinch. Gigger throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Nelson blocks it with crossed arms. Gigger lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
It looks like Quinton Nelson has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gigger controlling the action here for a moment.
Gigger's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Nelson clinches up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gigger has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Nelson uses from the top position. Nelson really is a fat lump. Gigger is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nelson is controlling him. Nelson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gigger dives on top into guard. Nelson is trying to control the position but Gigger postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gigger stands up from guard. Let's bang! Gigger goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Gigger has closed the distance and engaged Nelson in a clinch.
Gigger lands a nice knee to the body. The referee is keeping an eye on Gigger - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Gigger instigates a clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gigger's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gigger misses the shot to the body. Gigger moves into the clinch. A knee to the head by Gigger.
Gigger pulls guard effortlessly. Gigger is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nelson is controlling him. Gigger has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nelson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Nelson throws an elbow that misses. Gigger uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Nelson's guard. Nice move by Gigger!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gigger stands and steps away. Nelson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Gigger lands with a kick to the temple. Nelson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Gigger plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Whack! Gigger lands a heavy head kick that drops Nelson. The ref tackles Gigger to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Nelson was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Nag Gigger! Our winner, Nag Gigger, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
