The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuts throws a nice looking combination but Mattos bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A little feinted left hand from Mattos on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Nuts misses with a series of wild punches.
Mattos misses with a straight right.
Mattos gets a takedown into half guard.
Nuts on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Nuts is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mattos looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Nuts is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mattos seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Nuts is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
