Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Conor Brophy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Berrick Quincy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quincy forces Brophy back against the cage and clinches.
Brophy fails to pull guard.
Quincy gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Brophy regains guard.
Brophy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Quincy's guard.
Quincy working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Brophy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brophy is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Brophy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Quincy's guard.
Quincy throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Brophy manages to pass to side control.
Brophy creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Quincy sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Quincy is looking to reverse the position.
Brophy has an Americana. Quincy didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Brophy is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Brophy hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Conor Brophy!
In his post fight interview, Conor Brophy started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
