The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Huntsinger changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lupis tries to avoid it but Huntsinger manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lupis to the ground. Lupis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Lupis lands an overhand right.
Huntsinger takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Huntsinger doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lupis closes the distance and lands a one-two.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Huntsinger shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lupis sprawls well. Lupis wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Huntsinger gets slowly back to his feet.

Lupis looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Lupis is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Huntsinger takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Lupis should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
