The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dimdim shoots in for a double leg but Leon sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Leon lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Leon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Leon is defended easily by Dimdim.
Dimdim is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Dimdim tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Leon defends well and Dimdim ends up having to push Leon into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Leon darts in looking for a takedown but Dimdim gets double underhooks and turns Leon into the cage.

And Dimdim tries to counter it with a takedown but Leon pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Dimdim looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Leon gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dimdim to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Leon is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dimdim is aware though and is defending well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dimdim is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Leon doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dimdim.

You can see the frustration on Leon's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Dimdim is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Leon has escaped the position, nice work there.
Dimdim has hold of Leon's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Leon tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Dimdim cranks the arm and Leon screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Leon, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
