Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lou Mazza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Ramires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mazza's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Smooth Criminal. The key to victory for Lou Mazza has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fernando Ramires!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazza swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mazza lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ramires circles away quickly and effectively.
Mazza throws a combination that misses
and Ramires counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mazza won't be happy with that.
Mazza's coaches at Martial Arts Dojo have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Ramires wants to control but Mazza is keeping him busy.
Mazza prevents Ramires from moving into mount.
Mazza is trying to control Ramires's posture but Ramires avoids it.
Mazza is trying to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ramires trying to control the action but Mazza is working from the bottom.
Mazza is letting Ramires control him for a moment.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Ramires working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
You can see the frustration on Mazza's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Mazza manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mazza trying to hold on to Ramires's head to control him but Ramires postures up.
Ramires wants to take a breather but Mazza is having none of it.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Nice takedown defense from Mazza. No joy for Ramires on that attempt.
It looked like Mazza was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Mazza misses with a looping left.
Ramires tries for a takedown but Mazza sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ramires slips a jab and a cross from Mazza.
Nice shot lands for Mazza.
Ramires dives in for a single leg takedown but Mazza sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Lou Mazza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fernando Ramires.
A jab from Mazza finds it's way through Ramires's defenses.
Ramires drops his hands momentarily and Mazza takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Lou Mazza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mazza, as that shot connected.
Mazza swinging wildly here.
Mazza pounces like a tiger and cracks Ramires with a vicious hook! Ramires is down but not out! Mazza follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Lou Mazza!
Lou Mazza is the new super heavyweight champion!
A relieved looking Lou Mazza thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
