Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Tritter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, JD Wildstein!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Kavanagh and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wildstein fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tritter.
A shot to the liver by Tritter. Beautiful body shot.

Tritter lands a left and a right that send Wildstein crashing to the mat, dazed. Tritter thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


It looks like JD Wildstein has been cut.
Tritter is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wildstein.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tritter throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A little jabbing left from Wildstein on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Tritter swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Wildstein.
Tritter tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wildstein was well out of range. Poor timing from Tritter.

Wildstein scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Tritter is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
My spies in Green Line inform me that Wildstein has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Tritter is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Wildstein is controlling him well.

Wildstein throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Wildstein misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Wildstein has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Tritter tries to lock up and control but Wildstein gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Wildstein postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tritter looks a forlorn figure.
Tritter is squirming around, avoiding Wildstein's attempts to control the action.

Tritter tries to reverse the position but Wildstein maintains control.
Oh Tritter is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wildstein drops a big elbow. That's hurt Tritter! More shots from Wildstein and the ref steps in! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). JD Wildstein!
