Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Salazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gianni Gonito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salazar kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Antistar (by Massive Attack). Gonito has chosen Living in America by James Brown(Apollo creed entrance) as his entrance music. Gianni Gonito acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robbie Salazar! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gianni Gonito! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gonito tries to bum rush Salazar with a series of wild strikes but Salazar uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A nice combination there by Gonito.

Salazar instigates a clinch. Gonito can't break the clinch.
Gonito wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Salazar pulls Gonito into guard.
Salazar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gonito doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gonito manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Salazar is looking for a triangle but Gonito pushes his legs off easily.
Salazar is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Salazar working for a triangle but Gonito defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salazar lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gonito! Gonito defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Salazar. Salazar can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gonito is looking to escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Salazar is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Gonito has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Gonito!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salazar looking for a guillotine here but Gonito defends easily.
Gonito wanted to stand there but Salazar had control of the position. Salazar is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Gonito rolls with it to try and escape but Salazar cranks on the arm and Gonito is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
