Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eduardo Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Sanders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eduardo Silva!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Sanders looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sanders shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sanders with a poor takedown
and Silva counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Sanders. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sanders dives in for a single leg takedown but Silva sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Sanders gets the takedown into side control.
Silva manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Silva stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sanders tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Silva is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
That kick from Silva tenderised Sanders's leg. Sanders is trying to keep his angry face on.
Sanders shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Silva counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Silva lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Silva leaves Sanders with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Sanders looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Silva fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sanders on the side of the head.


It looks like Mike Sanders has been cut.
Silva has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Sanders is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Nice straight punches there by Silva. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Silva.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Sanders takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Silva throws a head kick that half lands.
Nice body kick there by Silva.
Silva lands with a kick to the ribs.
Sanders is breathing heavily.
A jab lands there for Silva.
Silva connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sanders. Sanders circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Sanders gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Silva counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.


Sanders is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sanders takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Oh Sanders is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Silva throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Sanders colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Silva as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Sanders is left battered and dazed whilst Silva and his camp cheer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eduardo Silva!
Eduardo Silva decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
