The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Theodorou gets the takedown into side control.
Theodorou throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Theodorou lands a few punches from side control.
An elbow from Theodorou crashes against the mat.
The ground and pound from Theodorou seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Theodorou tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Theodorou passes to full mount! That's big trouble for La Brute!

Theodorou connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
La Brute takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Theodorou lands a big shot there that rocks La Brute but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
La Brute wants to control but Theodorou is having none of it.
Theodorou definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

La Brute is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Theodorou loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have La Brute scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Theodorou land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Theodorou stands and salutes the crowd.
