Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duncan Macgregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jurgen Wexler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jurgen Wexler is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wexler avoids the head kick by Macgregor.
And Wexler tries to counter it with a takedown but Macgregor pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Wexler walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Macgregor checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Wexler chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Macgregor can pounce on him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Macgregor fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wexler.
Wexler tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Macgregor swivels and escapes.

Wexler manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Macgregor wants to get up but he can't break Wexler's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Macgregor will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wexler is on top in guard.

Wexler drops back looking for a leg! Macgregor is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Macgregor manages to kick Wexler off! Wexler jumps back into Macgregor's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Duncan Macgregor will probably get the nod.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
