Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Riley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Riley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Sanchez! The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez is looking to clinch. Sanchez darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Sanchez seems to be looking for submissions.
Riley wants to get back to full guard. Riley works his way to full guard. Good work. Sanchez sitting in guard, not really doing much. Sanchez tries to free his leg and advance position but Riley is retaining full guard. Sanchez stopping the sweep attempt from Riley. Sanchez wants to stand but Riley has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Riley is working an open guard so Sanchez takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Riley rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sanchez moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sanchez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Riley misses with a takedown attempt and Sanchez counters with a nice double leg into guard. Riley is trying to control the position but Sanchez postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Riley is controlling Sanchez's posture. Riley trying to control the position.
Sanchez wants to control from the top but Riley keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanchez advances position into side control! Riley is not content to let Sanchez control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sanchez looks gassed! Sanchez thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Sanchez decides to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Riley has closed the distance and engaged Sanchez in a clinch.

Sanchez prevents Riley from getting back to his feet. Riley looking for a sweep. Not yet Riley, not yet. Sanchez with a flurry of punches that miss. Sanchez stands and steps away. Riley gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Riley looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Riley wants to control from the top but Sanchez keeps moving. Sanchez throws his legs up looking for a submission but Riley uses it to pass to side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Sanchez's face as Riley controls the position. Riley has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Riley swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Sanchez counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Riley's guard now. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sanchez trying to control the position from guard on top but Riley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sanchez slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Sanchez looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Sanchez dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Riley fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sanchez sprawls well initially but Riley persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Sanchez is trying to stand up here but Riley is controlling him well. Riley looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Riley passes the guard and advances to mount! Riley sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Riley trying to control but Sanchez is having none of it. Sanchez is trying to stand but he's just given Riley his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanchez trying to control the action but Riley just sinks the hooks in. Dan Sanchez has got the better of the ground game so far. Sanchez fending off the submission attempt from Riley. Riley has Sanchez flattened out and is raining down punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sanchez staying busy and making it hard for Riley to control. Riley gets his hands free as Sanchez looks to control. Riley looking for the choke but no joy. Riley trying to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Riley gets his hands free as Sanchez looks to control. A bit of a pause in the action here. Riley controlling the positon. Riley connects with a big shot to the side of Sanchez's head.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Riley is trying to control but Sanchez is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
Riley looking to control but Sanchez is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Riley has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sanchez's face.

Paul Riley dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Riley's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Riley is trying to trip Sanchez. He has hold of a leg but Sanchez is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Riley persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Riley postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Riley seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sanchez does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Riley trying to mount his opponent but Sanchez defends it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sanchez with a poor takedown and Riley counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Riley not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Riley won't allow Sanchez to sweep him here. Riley would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Paul Riley showed his dominance in that final round. I think Riley has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
